Heard back from Phil today on my short story synopses for the WotC anthology, and a Maiden of Pain follow-up is out. He made a good point that even though the anthology will hit shelves a few months after my novel, it would still have a huge spoiler potential because the story is set after the events of the novel.
So that leaves the gnomes. Yep, you heard right. My short story will feature gnomes, and not as comic relief. Phil said he couldn’t recall the last time gnomes where featured in an FR story. Bet you can’t wait until Fall 2005, now.
