Valon’s demise

I believe I mentioned earlier that I decided to drop out of one of the PbP games I was in due to, what I considered, a low level of quality. Knowing the DM would kill off my character, a paladin of Pelor named Valon, I contacted her and asked for a dignified death. (She had killed off a previous player who left by having them fall down a pit after they ran screaming from fear into the temple.)
Curious as to the method of Valon’s passage to the afterlife, I decided to go back to the forum yesterday. Here is the post:
“One door to room #3 is wedged closed, and, as the other is FLUNG open, Valon rushes into the room, tripping over Gram, also trying to sneak in, and stumbles, impaling himself onto a Giant, Unholy Fork…. tippling over several barrels, which, in turn, topple over a VERY sharp, Giant, Unholy Knife, which slices Valon cleanly through his midsection, killing him instantly.”
I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised. At least this reinforces my feelings on the decision to leave.
