I got some great advice from Phil today concerning my fears for Maiden. I gotta tell you, Mr. Athans gets my vote for Best Editor to Work With as a First Time Author. He has been supportive, encouraging, accommodating and positive in all of our communications. It has made the experience of writing my first novel just that much more enjoyable.
As proof of the above, Phil loved my short story, but is holding off on sending me some minor revision notes until I have finished the first draft of Maiden because he didn’t want to take anymore of the two months I have left before my deadline. I love this guy.
