Rejected but moving on

I got the formula rejection letter from the company I interviewed with last week. I won’t say I was surprised, but I do feel like I was at a disadvantage, having only met with one of the two people who were interviewing. However, that person is the direct supervisor for the position, so I guess if I didn’t make a good impression with him then it wouldn’t really matter whether the HR person liked me or not.
Last week, my company had a garage sale. This is the second one they’ve had since I’ve been here. I picked up a dual-P2 webserver and three 10k rpm, 9+ gig, SCSI hard drives for $25. The plan is to use this server to host the online game that Wan Gai, panicattack, and myself are developing. It’s been a couple months since we last worked on the project, and it felt nice to start moving on it again.
