What I did on my summer vacation

It was a good week. We got the front and the sides of the house painted with the main color, and got the first coat of the trim on. We ran out of paint before we could get to the back.
I don’t think I’ve ever eaten this much birthday cake in one week. Between that and the pop, my pants are starting to get a little snug. My wife has coerced me into going on the South Beach diet with her for the next couple weeks.
The writing was good as well. It was like a taste of what life could be like if I were writing full time. I completed chapter 9, which turned out to be the longest chapter in the book to this point. I was hoping to get a little further, but ended up writing the chapter almost from scratch. There’s not much from the outline that is still in this particular part of the book. I’m happy with how it turned out.
For those who haven’t heard yet, I forgot to mention before I took time off last week that Silven Crossroads published another interview with me in their free monthly e-zine, the Silven Trumpeter. I was actually able to give some details about the characters from Maiden, so go check it out.
