Yeah, today is the big day. It’s tempting to rant about Lucas’s decisions, but I’m not going to. I am kicking myself for my decision to sell the collector’s edition of the original trilogy at a garage sale last summer, though. Don’t ask me how much it went for.
I wrapped up chapter ten last night. My word count for these last two chapters is almost as much as chapters 5-8 combined. With three chapters and an epilogue left, I’m feeling relieved and confident that I will be much closer to that 90k target than I originally thought. Phil once again proved his wisdom when he told me to just keep going because, in his experience, the second half of books tend to be meatier than the first.
