Too much good TV

I know the title of this post seems like an oxymoron, but I have found myself pulled in to several new shows this season, and it couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Wednesdays are usually an off night for me anyway with regards to writing, but tonight is the season premiere of CSI and Without a Trace, two shows my wife and I got addicted to over the summer. Not to mention Joey.
I’m not a real TV watcher. There’s usually a show or two that I make an effort to watch for a while, but then other things eventually come up and I miss chunks of the show’s run for the season. No big deal. So why is it different with the premieres?
Oh, well, I’ll have a half-hour between Joey and CSI to get some writing done. I might even stay up later than usual if I get on a roll. It’s almost the weekend, anyway.
