Let the revisions begin

I got the revision notes on my short story back from Phil yesterday. He wanted me to axe the last paragraph (it bordered on cliche, which I knew) and add a scene that I had let happen “off-screen.” I guess the antho is running a little short on page count. There was also an inn/tavern I had created for a scene in Leilon, but there were two taverns actually in existence already (see Volo’s Guide to the North). I was unaware of this, so will be using one of them instead. There were a couple small things that I wanted to revise as well, which had been pointed out to me by my folks when I read the story to them.

One thing I wasn’t aware of is that the stories in FR anthologies are arranged by date within the book. In otherwords, they are placed in chronological order. My story takes place several years in the past, so I imagine it may be near the front of the book. I don’t have the exact month and year yet. Anybody willing to share when their story takes place?
