A week was long enough

We had a nice week in North Carolina visiting some relatives on the wife’s side of the family. We visited the zoo (NC has one of the top-ranked zoos in the country), golfed (I suck!), and went to a minor league baseball game.

When I came home, the contract from Paizo for the upcoming Dragon article, which will appear in issue #332, was waiting. Five of the authors from RotD2 collaborated on this article. It addresses themes used in our stories and talks about ways of incorporating them into PCs, NPCs, or adventures. The issue should be out in May, the same month as the anthology.

I still need to send off that query about another article to Dragon’s editor.

You know, it’s exciting watching all of you guys taking the MoP call’s opportunities and running with it. From that one call, we now have 11 new authors putting out novels, short stories, and articles in Dragon.

In a bizarre way, it’s like a “local man makes good” story to me, even though everyone is spread out over the world.

I don’t know. Just ignore the crazy writer in the woods. :)
