The ads for the house will run this weekend in the two big, local papers, we’re contracting a small landscape company to touch up the yard, and tomorrow we’ll purchase a yard sign. We’ve narrowed down prospective apartments to two. It’s still somewhat surreal.
I’ve been sneaking in some writing here and there over the last couple weeks. “Scroll of Cairdein” is nearing the two-thirds complete mark, and sits at just under 10k words currently.

So, does this mean you’ve picked a grad school? Or are you just moving into an apartment while you decide?

Not yet. Still waiting on a couple of recommendation letters before I send out applications. We plan to rent an apartment for six months or so and move at the end of June after the baby is born.

Yeah, I don’t think I announced this one. It happened right after the miscarriage, so we’re about nine weeks along. Thanks for the well-wishes.
