J.L. Collins kindly posted a contest announcement from Shadowline. Seems they’re looking for a writer to pair with artist Franchesco! (yes, the exclamation point is part of the name) to produce a three-issue mini-series featuring a super-heroine. Writer and artist will share trademark and copyright, and split back-end profits.

I had the pleasure of being asked to contribute to a small press anthology last week. While very appreciative of the gesture, I decided to pass for purely mercenary reasons. I did tell the publisher I would advertise the open call for submissions once it was announced.
